Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, work in the same way. In this policy “cookies” covers all of them.

Necessary cookies are always on because the site can’t work properly without them. Everything else is off until you say yes, and you can change your mind at any time.

Functional, analytics and marketing cookies come from services we use, such as live chat and Google Analytics. Live chat and marketing tools load only after you allow their category. Google Analytics uses Google Consent Mode: it loads on every page but sets no analytics or advertising cookies until you allow them, sending only cookieless signals (such as a page view without an identifier) until then. These services’ own cookies are covered by their privacy policies.

When you first visit, we ask whether you accept cookies. Accept all and Reject all are equally easy, and Manage settings lets you choose each category. To change your choice later, use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. If you switch a category off, we remove the cookies we can and reload the page without that category.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block necessary cookies, parts of the site may not work.

To show that we asked and what you chose, we keep a record each time you make or change a choice: your random consent ID, your choices, the version of this policy, the page you were on, the date and time, the country and your browser type. We don’t record your IP address, and the consent ID identifies your browser, not you.

We keep these records for up to 24 months. Your consent ID is shown in Cookie settings; quote it if you contact us about your choices.
